We would like you to help us promote and support our library and community. Becoming a Friend unites you with other supporters and lovers of your library. A Friends group gives a stronger voice in promoting the work and ongoing vitality of each branch. In these days of budget cuts, the need is greater than ever for members of the community to step up and help our libraries. Every library needs a Friend! |
How to Join Us

You can join the Friends of Embry Hills Library when you are at the library or when you attend one of our meetings or events. Download a membership form or fill one out at the library. Annual dues are $5 for an individual or $10 for a family. Most importantly, we want your thoughts and your help to support Embry Hills Library!

Who We Are

Friends of Embry Hills Library, INC. is a 501(c)(3) organization that was formed to support and advocate for our library in Chamblee, Georgia and the DeKalb County Library System. The mission of the Friends of the Library is to promote interest in, use of, and public support for the DeKalb County Public Library. Friends volunteer their time and resources to help provide high quality library services, books, and materials for their community libraries.
The Friends of Embry Hills was formed in 2010 and received non-profit status under the umbrella of the Alliance of the Friends of the DeKalb County Public Library, Inc. The Friends of Embry Hills Library has an elected slate of officers. In 2016, those officers are:
